The consulting business of Digital Gaslight is centered around our core competencies in Computer Science, rather than languages, tools, and niche markets. We seek customers with challenging and critical problems, and we offer true experience and depth in our problem solving abilities. We are eager to take on the whole problem, even when the problem may be large and may have frustrated other companies.
Databases and data mining
Data management services include all aspects, from the highest level problems of scale to the lowest level aspects of performance measurement. We work primarily with Oracle and MySQL.
Technology Assisted Marketing
We are skilled with mass customization, product testing, usability, integration of direct marketing with web tracking, and providing our customers with the best of what technology can offer.
Computer Science & Programming
Many people do programming. We have depth in the computer science that underlies the programming. We concentrate on correct function, regulatory and standards compliance, and industry best practices.
Specifically, we can offer you expertise in statistics, simulations, cryptography, and structural design of high performance software and networks.
We do the work ourselves, since our customers would not expect critical path work to be subcontracted, and most of what we do is critical path work. User interfaces for web software are also handled internally, and they are written using open source technologies.
